The world of Airsoft is full of colorful Airsoft personalities… From the Hard Core Milsimers, to the Airsoft Instructors, to the Tongue in Cheek Light hearted jokesters.

Here are 10 of EricAirsoftfullauto’s Favorite Instagram Airsoft personalities.

10. @Callsign.Beluga

Airsoft’s Spiderman. Known for his acrobatic Tactical Shots, Callsign.Beluga is one of my favorite Airsofter’s on Instagram. From the Netherlands, and with over 40K followers, he has some serious dedication to his craft

His rappelling skills and daredevil love of heights makes for some of the coolest Airsoft pics on the web.

9. @lynx.inf01

Rocking the Tactical Gasmask and hoodie lynx.inf01 livens up most Airsoft Enthusiast’s Instagram feed. He is an Airsofter from Sweden, and the Snowy backdrops along with his all black light loadouts go very well together!

He is a brand ambassador for Specna Arms, and is also sponsored by TITAN.

8. @rocha_g01 (Gabriel Rocha)

Gabriel from Portugal, is one of the coolest Airsoft personalities on my list. He does not have your typical fully loaded Milsim look, instead he opts for the urban super light tactical loadout. Most times you will catch him in a T-shirt, some tactical pants, and a fitted hat, all black of course. His photography style has a will smith (Bad Boys 2) vibe to it that most Airsofters love.

7. @skinnybitch._

At number 7 @skinnybitch._ is our favorite Female European Airsofter. As her IG proudly states she has been Airsofting since 2007 and truly loves the game. Following her account there is no shortage of awesome Airsoft Photos, whether its the Glamour shot in a tub full of Rifles, or the post apocalyptical type pics with her dog Delta.

She has a very strong following, and what I love most is how interactive she is with her followers and fans…not to mention she has some of the cutest patches!

6. @callsign_bellator

Coming in at No 6 we have German Airsofter Christian Janneck also known as Callsign_bellator. Bellator is our first entry in the speedsoft category. Even if you are super anti speedsoft as some advanced Airsoft Enthusiasts can be, you cannot help but love Callsign_bellator’s action packed shots. From his cool colorful pictures, to his SA-E06 Edge Rifle and his awesome Helmet, I am always excited to see him on my IG feed.

5. @delta_area_operator_01

DAO_01 is just badass. Down to earth and cool dude, and one of the more featured Airsofter on our Instagram page, DAO_01 always comes with the heat!

Dropping some the most realistic and entertaining Milsim shots, he is definitely one of our favorite follows. From awesome sci fi milsim samurai shots, to double gunned up with LMGs, you wont regret dropping a follow if you enjoy airsoft pics.

4. @Airsoft_Alfonse

“Hello There” Alfonse comes in at no 4 on our list. There’s a long list of reasons to follow Airsoft_alfonse, who also now goes by the name Scuba Steve. He falls in our Educational and Entertaining Category. Out of Hawaii, Alfonse is the Airsoft ladies man if there was one on our list.

Buff Arms and Short Shorts and Starwars…(if that’s your kind of thing) you can find him “one-Arming” some massive LMGs or casually carrying a full size minigun that would make most biceps sore! What I really like about Alfonse is his dedication to the game and his very instructional method of posting. His content is always Hi Definition and he really take production seriously. Check out his new series “Airsoft Science” which I am interested to see more of!

3. @evikematt

One of, if not the most recognizable faces on my list is Matt from Evike. Whether you are a seasoned airsofter, or just heard the word “Airsoft” for the first time this week, you have very likely been introduced to Matt. With a super long resume of Airsoft promotion Matt is a must follow.

Matt is the charismatic face of Evike.com and has an endless supply of airsoft gun reviews, and educational videos. Make sure to check out his ask me anything live sessions on instagram, or find him in person at Airsoftcon.

2. @danfoofighter / @we.are.black.omen

Ceo of Black Omen clothing brand, Danfoofighter tops our badassery list of Airosft personalities. Straight out of Valhalla Danfoofighter has some of the most badass Airsoft pictures on the net hands down! Full Black Beard, angry snarl tatted to the max you cant help but love the Bad guy in this movie!

One of my fav things about danfoofighter is his easy going personality, rough on the outside but cool as ice on the inside, he really makes his followers feel at home.

1. @inzzen

At No 1 on my list based off the pure dedication to his craft and followers is @Inzzen. Known as the master of Airsoft Cosplay. If you are a Call of Duty Fan and do not follow him, you are definitely using instagram totally wrong! Izzen has some of the most crazy, realistic Call of Duty cosplay, hands down the best I have seen anywhere on the net.

Inzzen takes his craft very seriously and that translates to some of the most awesome shots on our instagram feed.

TOP 5 TIPS FOR AIRSOFT BEGINNERS [ESSENTIAL GUIDE] https://airsoftfullauto.com/top-5-tips-for-airsoft-beginners-essential-guide/ https://airsoftfullauto.com/top-5-tips-for-airsoft-beginners-essential-guide/#comments Mon, 07 Sep 2020 22:31:53 +0000 https://airsoftfullauto.com/?p=869

Are you looking to get into airsoft as a hobby? Here in this article I will list top five tips for an airsoft beginner to look out for these will cover the basics from choosing your gear to a general mindset to enjoy your first game of this beloved sport!

1. FIND YOUR LOCAL SITE

As obvious as it sounds, looking up your local sites online is the first step to playing airsoft. Find a few sites close by and try the ones that seem well established to ensure a decent player count on the day. For your first game, make sure to rent your equipment or borrow from a friend if you can, otherwise, all you will need to bring yourself is a decent pair of boots, preferably with ankle protection. Most sites offer a rental service which include eye protection, rᎥfle, two mags and a bottle of BBs which will last you the day. This will give you a feel for the game and your chosen site, we don’t recommend spending money on an airsoft rᎥfle or equipment before your first skirmish as you might potentially find that this hobby isn’t for your or the rᎥfle you have bought doesn’t fit your playing style.

2. HAVING THE RIGHT GEAR

After you have had a couple of games and decide that the sport is for you, you will need to look into getting the right gear. Depending on your play style there are a range of options out there: from tactical vests to plate carriers, chest rigs and battle belts. Just remember that the expensive gear isn’t always necessary and there is a range of cost effective manufactures out there, such as: 8Fields and Viper Tactical. The overall aim of your gear is to be reliable and allow you to carry what you need onto the field. Most loadouts are made to carry extra magazines, a spare bottle of BB’s and pyrotechnics such as flashbangs and smoke grenades. However, you load carrying equipment is completely overshadowed by the importance of your eye protection. Do not go out and buy cheap eye protection as it is the most important part of your gear and safety is a major concern when airsofting. Whether you opt for a full face mask or just eye protection, do not be cheap and stick to well established brands such as Sawfly for eyepro with lenses or Nuprol for the mesh style variety. Also, don’t forget to invest in comfortable pair of boots with ankle protection, they are crucial to reduce any risks when traversing uneven terrains. If you want to read more about the startup costs and beginner airsoft gear, here are a few articles that delve into the associated costs and gear recommendations when just starting the hobby.

3. ASK QUESTIONS

One of the easiest way to improve your understanding of airsoft is to learn from those around you.

Also try and pick up tricks of the trade from other players. Don’t be afraid of asking, as there is no such thing as a stupid question and everyone had to learn one way or the other. If you’re unsure of what type of primary rᎥfle you want, ask to try out some of the gear from regular players at your local site, most people are happy to show you and tell you about their gear, why it suits them and why it might be the right or wrong choice for you. Feel free to also ask the game marshals as the vast majority of the marshals at airsoft sites will be players themselves. They can offer a different perspective to the game by observing from the sidelines while marshalling. Although most players would love to help, some people are protective and passionate about their expensive gear and rᎥfles, so it is important to also respect that.

4. ATTITUDE

Having the right attitude is absolutely key to enjoying airsoft. You are going to get muddy, you will be tired and you will get shot. You will most likely get frustrated when you think you’re hitting the target when in fact your BBs are hitting light shrub in the way. Do not get discouraged, accuracy and finding the perfect moment or space to shoot through will come with experience. Get involved, communicate with your teammates and try your best! At the end of the day, airsoft is meant as entertainment so bring your friends and have an amazing day out! Spice things up with purchasing a few flashbangs and smoke grenades and trust me, you will have a blast! One of the best moments for me in Airsoft was escorting a VIP through a trail of smoke whilst BBs were whizzing past our heads and flashbangs exploding at our feet. Pure adrenaline!

5. JUST DO IT

There’s only so much you can enjoy and learn from reading articles and watching airsoft videos on youtube. Find a local site, book a game and simply turn up. Do not hesitate and put it off for ages, most games cost between $30 to $50 including rental gear and last all day – a cost effective bundle of joy. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us through our contact form on the website or through any of our social media platforms. Our team is mostly scattered around UK, and we have a few members currently living in USA, I’m sure we will be able to help you out in one way or another! Go out there, take the leap and indulge yourself in the world of Airsoft!

Help Make Airsoft legal in Australia https://airsoftfullauto.com/help-make-airsoft-legal-in-australia/ https://airsoftfullauto.com/help-make-airsoft-legal-in-australia/#comments Mon, 29 Jun 2020 19:52:02 +0000 https://airsoftfullauto.com/?p=812

Fellow Airsofters, did you know currently Airsoft is deemed illegal in Australia? The ACT is governed by the Australian Federal Police; all airsoft guns that resemble semiautomatic or automatic military rifles or shotguns adapted for military purpose are considered prohibited weapons, as are an imitation or replica of any firearm (including an imitation or replica pistol, shortened firearm, machine gun or submachine gun) unless it is of a type approved by the Registrar. Everyone everywhere should have the right to the exhilarating thrill of playing airsoft! Let’s work together and help Charlie Donald get this petition goal met! We are so close!

USA Airsoft Laws – State by State https://airsoftfullauto.com/airsoft-laws-state-by-state/ https://airsoftfullauto.com/airsoft-laws-state-by-state/#comments Sun, 28 Jun 2020 03:21:06 +0000 http://airsoftfullauto.com/?p=706

List of US States and Airsoft Laws

  • Arkansas – Owning or using an airsoft gun has been deemed illegal in this state
  • California – Airsoft laws in the state of California are defined by Senate Bill No.199 that states:

“Existing law prohibits a person from furnishing a BB device, defined to include a spot marker gun, to a minor without the permission of the minor’s parent or guardian, and prohibits selling a BB device to a minor. Violation of either of these prohibitions is a crime. Existing law defines a BB device as any instrument that expels a projectile, such as a BB or pellet, that does not exceed 6 millimeters in caliber.”.

  • Colorado – Students who bring an airsoft gun to school will receive a mandatory expulsion. There are also other laws and regulations that govern where you can use your airsoft gun.
  • Illinois – As of July 13, 2012, air guns are no longer considered firearms. To receive this status the gun must be the equivalent of a big bore air gun that uses .18 caliber or higher ammunition with an FPS of 700 or more.
  • Maine – Maine Law states that selling an airsoft weapon to a child younger than the age of sixteen is deemed illegal.
  • Massachusetts – Though only those who are eighteen years or older can legally purchase an airsoft gun, those who are younger can play with the gun if they’re supervised by an adult.
  • Michigan – Orange flash hiders are mandatory and you must be eighteen or older to legally own an airsoft gun. Large caliber and high-power air pistols are considered to be firearms by state law.
  • Minnesota – Children 14 or older cannot be sold an airsoft gun without the permission of a parent or legal guardian. You cannot carry an airsoft gun in a threatening manner in a public area. Storing or carrying an airsoft gun onto a school campus is illegal.
  • Missouri – Municipal laws enforce when and where an airsoft gun can be fired. The local police department will have more information on the subject.
  • New York City – You must be sixteen or older to be in possession of an airsoft weapon. Though not outright illegal, brandishing an airsoft gun in New York City is greatly frowned upon and may lead to legal repercussions (depending on the situation). All replica firearms must be coated with tape and marked with bright colors.
  • North Dakota – airsoft and air guns are considered to be dangerous weapons. Thus, all laws that govern firearms and other dangerous weapons also apply to airsoft and air guns.
  • Texas – You can legally purchase and own airsoft guns, but you can only fire them outside the limits of major cities. Each municipality may be different when it comes to where you can fire your weapon.
  • Washington DC– It’s illegal to fire a firearm in a public area or in any setting where a person could be injured. Air pistols that use compressed gas or any other form of gas is forbidden from school buses and school premises. Washington DC gun laws state that carrying replica firearms are illegal.

Airsoft Guns and Federal Law

Though airsoft guns are considered to be legal weapons as defined by federal law, the definition of a firearm can vary state to state. Some states, for example, consider compressed and spring operated air guns to be firearms.

In other areas, the laws are completely relaxed. On a final note, if the airsoft manufacturer doesn’t have a license agreement with the actual firearms manufacturer then federal law requires that all trademarks be removed from the airsoft guns in question.

The bottom line

No matter where you live, you should always use common sense when dealing with airsoft guns. Even if you live in a relatively laid back state like Texas where gun laws aren’t as stringent as other parts of the country, you should always treat an airsoft gun as if it were a real firearm.

Therefore, when you have no intention of using the weapon, you should always keep your finger away from  the trigger. Recklessly using your airsoft gun could lead to criminal action, injury or possibly even death.  Always use protective gear and never allow a minor to handle an airsoft gun without adult supervision. Also, always be mindful on how you transport your airsoft weapons in public as well as in your vehicle.

Though purchasing an airsoft gun is a fairly easy and pain-free task in most parts of the country, you should always double check with your local and state laws to ensure that you’re abiding by the law when it comes to the use and ownership of your gun. Your local airsoft dealers should have this information readily on hand for you, but you can also visit your local police department for more details.
